Feeling Sketchy - sketch #177

It's time for a new sketch at Feeling Sketchy today.

I've made another Christmas card with a digistamp from our sponsor this month, Fred She Said.
I found old Christmas papers among my scraps for this card.

Here is the sketch:

The digistamps that I've used can you find at Fred She Said,

Andreja Lampe sitt bilde.

it's called Christmas Poinsetta Lantern Set, here.

I used an old sentiment stamp with the text "A star is shining tonight", and cut it in three pieces. In Norwegian poinsettas are called "Christmas star", so the text is here a kind of a wordplay.

Here are some closeups:

A great day

I made this layout some days ago. The photo is of my DH, taken in Grand Canyon last fall, when we walked the South Kaibab Trail.
We really had a great day and that's what my title says.

I colored the wood veneer blue so it would stand out from the background.

The grass chipboard are colored with embossing powders.

I used the September 1 sketch from  Let's Get Sketchy:

Grandchildren

Last Christmas our two grandchildren visited us for a couple of days. On Christmas Day morning the two sat in there chairs for breakfast.

I have used this sketch from Stuck?!

Papers and embellishments are from the July kit from Swirlydoos. Papers from Scrapberry and chipboards from Creative Embellishments.
Some old thickers from my stash.

Here are some closeups:

Sunset

It's time for more inspiration for the double page sketch at Stick it Down for September.

Here is my take on the sketch:

And here is the sketch:

As you can see did I go for a pretty c&s take on this sketch.
I used three photos, and cut one in three.
The photos is from a sunset in Enchinitas, California last November.

Here you can see my small flower cluster and a part of the chipboard.

For the title I used thickers and stickers.
On this closeup is it also possible to see the mist that I had on the background.

Andreja Lampe sitt bilde.

I have used the Christmas Poinsetta Lanntern Set on my card. I used the precolored lanntern and poinsettas. I fussycut one set of poinsettas which I put on 3D gludots over the other image, for a 3D effect..

I stamped my sentiment with a stamp from North Star Design, on white cardstock.

The patterned papers are from Lemoncraft, Christmas Greetings.

Our sponsor this month is DisDigi Stamps.

Andreja Lampe sitt bilde.

I have used two stamps for this card. The image stamp is an old one from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and I use it over and over again. Here I have stamped it on a pattern paper.

A poinsetta and some holly leaf for the flowercluster.

My second stamp is a text stamp from North Star Design. It say's "A little boy, a little stable, an event so great, that time our savior came down too this earth.".

Mindekirken

It's time for more inspiration on the double page sketch for August at Stick it Down.
Here is my tak on it;

Here is the sketch:

As you see, I used photos for some of the sirkles in the bacground and framed the three square photos with white paper.

Here are some closeups.
I used at stensil and som distress ink on the background.

I wrote my journaling direct on the background, and put an arrow beside it for the visiual effect.
On the bottom of my pages I've used two different paper strips.

My title is cut out with an TH alphabet.

I sometimes put on a date somewhere on my page, so also here.

Why don't take a look at all our August sketches over at Stick it down.
