Feeling Sketchy sketch #175

Today we have a new sketch up at Feeling Sketchy.

I've made another Christmas card.

And here is the sketch:

Our sponsor this month is DisDigi Stamps.

Andreja Lampe sitt bilde.

I have used two stamps for this card. The image stamp is an old one from Norsk Stempelblad AS, and I use it over and over again. Here I have stamped it on a pattern paper.

A poinsetta and some holly leaf for the flowercluster.

My second stamp is a text stamp from North Star Design. It say's "A little boy, a little stable, an event so great, that time our savior came down too this earth.".

It's time for more inspiration on the double page sketch for August at Stick it Down.
Here is my tak on it;

Here is the sketch:

As you see, I used photos for some of the sirkles in the bacground and framed the three square photos with white paper.

Here are some closeups.
I used at stensil and som distress ink on the background.

I wrote my journaling direct on the background, and put an arrow beside it for the visiual effect.
On the bottom of my pages I've used two different paper strips.

My title is cut out with an TH alphabet.

I sometimes put on a date somewhere on my page, so also here.

Why don't take a look at all our August sketches over at Stick it down.

I choose to start to make this years Christmas card. I love this stamp from Kort og Godt and the text stamp from Norsk Stempelblad is also one of my favorites.

I put on some holly leaf, and as you can see, my image is put on 3D adhesive pads.

I did put also my text on 3D adhesive pads, and used some ink on the edges of all my papers.

I have used the Flutterby image. I printed it out six times and colored it with Prisma color pencils in blues.

Three of them did I fussycut and put right over the other with 3D foam under the wings.

I had some glitterglue randomly on the flutterbies.

Sketch reveal at Stick it Down

It's time for new sketches at Stick it Down and here is my take on the double page sketch, using photos from our trip to Grand Canyon last November:

And here is the sketch:

As you see, I cut my patterned papers and used two differents in horisontal strips for the large one going over both sides. That way I didn't have to use two of the same papers. For the banners I used leftovers. I mixed papers from different manufactures.

Over at the Stick it Down blog you will also find the July card and one-page layout sketches.

Her are some closeups of my page:

I used Prima flowers for my flower clusters.

This swirl were cut for another project, but I didn't use it and have been laying on my table for a time. Now I got to use it.

I used a die from Spellbinder to cut out corners and used them in the places of the swirls on the sketch. Here together with one of the flowerclusters.

In addition to the journaling I put on two labels with the names of two of the stone formations.

My title says "magnificent" in norwegian.

Feeling Sketchy sketch #172

It's July and time for a new sketch over at the Feeling Sketchy Challenge blog.

Here is my take on the sketch:

Here is the sketch #172:

Andreja Lampe sitt bilde.

I have used two of their beautiful digistamps, Fuchsia and Flutterby.

I colored both with Prisma Color pencils and cut them out with circle dies from Spellbinders. Backgroundpaper are from Blue Fern Studio.

Here you see the colored Fuchsia, cut out and matted with a scalloped circle.

Here are the little Flutterby and my sentiment. I think this round birthdaystamp were great for this card, Do you see that the tiny flowers in the middle are colored too?

fredag 16. juni 2017

I have had this photo, taken in the church after a christening sermony, printed out for month, just waiting for the right moment to scrap it. Last week I found the June 1 Sketch Challenge at Let's Get Sketchy, and thought it would be great for this photo.

And here is the sketch:

I just had to put on some flowers:

And some closeups on some other embellishing:

Papers and embellishments are mostly from the February 2017 kit from Swirlydoos.
